Swiss Life Holding AG is a Swiss-headquartered insurance and financial services group that provides life, pension, health, annuity, and investment-type products to both individual and corporate clients. The company also offers property and casualty, liability, motor, accident, and payment protection insurance, and complements these with asset management, advisory, and investment fund services.
Its operations are organized across Switzerland, France, Germany, International, Asset Managers, and Other segments, with additional presence in the United Kingdom and Luxembourg. Products are distributed through proprietary sales channels and partners under brands such as Swiss Life Select, Tecis, Horbach, Proventus, and Chase de Vere.
As a multi-line insurance company, Swiss Life generates the bulk of its revenue from premiums and fees on life and pension policies, while investment income from its managed assets is another key earnings driver. The company was founded in 1857 and is based in Zurich.
