Description: SMTH ALPS Trust

SMTH is an actively managed fixed income ETF that pursues its objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets in bonds. The portfolio can include U.S. government and agency securities, corporate bonds, convertible bonds, commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities (CMBS and RMBS), and zero-coupon bonds. The fund may also allocate to asset-backed securities, money market instruments, commercial loans, and foreign debt securities, including exposure to emerging markets.

As an Intermediate Core-Plus Bond ETF, SMTH generally targets intermediate-duration debt and can hold a broader mix of fixed income sectors, including investment-grade and some non-investment-grade (high-yield) issues, which differentiates it from more constrained core bond strategies. The fund was launched in December 2023 and trades on the NYSE.
