Regions Financial Corporation is a U.S.-based financial holding company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, that provides banking and related financial products and services to both individual and corporate customers. Founded in 1971, the company operates through three main segments: Corporate Bank, Consumer Bank, and Wealth Management. The Corporate Bank segment delivers commercial lending, equipment lease financing, deposit products, capital markets activities, and advisory services to corporate, middle market, and commercial real estate clients. The Consumer Bank segment offers residential mortgages, home equity products, consumer credit cards, and other consumer loans, along with related deposit products. The Wealth Management segment provides credit, retirement, and savings solutions, as well as trust, investment management, asset management, and estate planning services to individuals, businesses, and institutions.
The company also offers specialty services such as small business lending, equipment financing, investment and insurance products, home improvement lending, and broker-dealer services.
