The iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (LQD) is designed to track the performance of the U.S. dollar-denominated liquid investment-grade corporate bond market. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying index and at least 90% in fixed income securities selected to help replicate that index. Launched in 2002, LQD is one of the largest and most actively traded corporate bond ETFs, offering investors broad exposure to U.S. investment-grade corporate debt.
