Description: JIRE JPMorgan International

JIRE is an actively managed ETF that invests primarily in equity securities of companies located in developed markets outside the United States. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the funds assets are held in equities, with holdings drawn largely from the MSCI EAFE Index universe. The fund may also hold securities not included in the benchmark.

The funds strategy is enhanced, meaning it aims to outperform the MSCI EAFE Index over time while maintaining comparable sector and geographic risk characteristics. The EAFE Index tracks large- and mid-cap equities across developed markets in Europe, Australasia, and the Far East, and the Foreign Large Blend category reflects a blend of growth and value styles within international developed-market equities. JIRE is one of the longest-running international ETFs, having been launched in October 1992.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • USD weakness boosts EAFE returns for US investors
  • European earnings recovery lifts developed market stocks
  • Bank of Japan policy normalization reshapes Japanese valuations
