Description: IWC Micro-Cap

The iShares Micro-Cap ETF (IWC) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that primarily invests at least 80% of its assets in the securities comprising its underlying index, which tracks the U.S. micro-cap segment of the equity market. Micro-cap stocks represent the smallest publicly traded companies, generally characterized by limited trading liquidity and higher volatility relative to larger-cap categories.

To maintain tracking accuracy, the fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in derivatives such as futures, options, and swap contracts, as well as in cash equivalents and other securities not included in the underlying index that the advisor believes will help the fund replicate the indexs performance.
