Description: IVLU Edge Intl Value Factor

The iShares Edge MSCI Intl Value Factor ETF (IVLU) is a passive exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of an index based on the MSCI World ex USA Index-a benchmark covering large- and mid-cap stocks across developed markets outside the United States. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying index, which applies a value factor tilt to the parent benchmark, typically selecting stocks based on valuation characteristics such as low price-to-book and price-to-earnings ratios. The remaining assets may be held in futures, options, swap contracts, cash equivalents, or securities not in the underlying index. Launched in 2015, IVLU provides investors with targeted exposure to international developed-market equities that exhibit value-style fundamentals.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Dollar strength pressures international equity returns
  • Value factor rotation shifts flows out of ex-USA markets
  • European financials and energy exposure drives index performance
  • Japan and Europe dividend yields attract yield-seeking investors
