Description: IEMG Core Emerging Markets

The iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (IEMG) is a passively managed fund that invests at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of its underlying MSCI index, as well as in securities with substantially identical economic characteristics. The index tracks large-, mid-, and small-cap equity performance across global emerging markets, providing broad exposure to developing economies.

As an exchange-traded fund in the Diversified Emerging Markets category, IEMG offers investors a single vehicle to access a wide range of stocks from emerging market countries. It is part of the iShares Core suite, which is designed to provide low-cost, long-term core portfolio exposure. The fund was launched in 2012 and is structured to track its benchmark through a replication strategy, holding each constituent security in proportion to its weight in the index.
