Description: IBDX Trust - iBonds Dec 2032

The iShares iBonds Dec 2032 Term Corporate ETF (IBDX) is a target-maturity fixed income fund that aims to track a Bloomberg corporate bond index composed of U.S. dollar-denominated bonds maturing in 2032. As a laddered or target-date bond ETF, it holds investment-grade corporate debt and is designed to be held until the portfolio matures, at which point it will distribute principal back to shareholders.

To maintain index fidelity, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in the indexs component instruments and at least 90% in fixed income securities consistent with the index. Managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) under the iShares brand, the fund may also include non-U.S. issuer exposure as required to match index composition, and it uses a passive replication strategy common to index-tracking ETFs.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Corporate credit spreads tighten on resilient earnings
  • Treasury yields rise as Fed signals fewer rate cuts
  • Defined-maturity bond demand grows from liability-driven investors
