ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly, packaging, and testing services, operating across the United States, Taiwan, the rest of Asia, and Europe. The company operates through three core segments: Packaging, Testing, and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), serving clients in computing, peripherals, communications, industrial, automotive, and server end-markets.

The companys offerings span the full semiconductor back-end value chain, including wafer probing, front-end engineering testing, final testing, wire bonding, advanced packaging, and heterogeneous integration, as well as turnkey solutions that cover packaging, testing, and direct shipment to end customers. ASE is generally recognized as one of the worlds largest independent OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) providers, a segment of the semiconductor supply chain that sits between wafer fabrication and final device assembly.

In addition to its core semiconductor services, ASE maintains a diversified portfolio that includes substrate production, design and manufacturing of electronic components, antennas, RF amplifiers, PCBs, and tuners, as well as research and development activities. The company also engages in real estate, property leasing, property development, and commercial complex management.
