Red River Bancshares, Inc. is a bank holding company that operates Red River Bank, providing commercial and retail banking services across the United States. As a holding company structure, RRBIs parent entity owns and controls the bank subsidiary, a common arrangement for U.S. regional banks that allows the holding company to raise capital separately from the bank itself.
The companys deposit offerings include checking, savings, money market accounts, and time deposits, while its loan portfolio covers a wide range of categories such as commercial real estate, construction and development, commercial and industrial lending, small business administration loans (including Paycheck Protection Program loans from the COVID-19 era), residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, and consumer loans. This diversified mix is typical of community and regional banks serving both business and individual customers within their markets.
Beyond core lending and deposit services, Red River Bank provides treasury management, private banking, brokerage, investment advisory, retirement planning, and a suite of digital and traditional banking channels including online, mobile, ATM, and drive-through access. Regional banks like RRBI generally compete through local relationship banking combined with the convenience of digital platforms.
The company was incorporated in 1998, is headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana, and has been listed on NASDAQ since its 2019 IPO. Its market capitalization of approximately $585 million places it in the small-cap segment of the regional banking sector.
