Description: GFLW VictoryShares Free Cash

The VictoryShares Free Cash Flow Growth ETF (GFLW) is a passively managed fund that seeks to track a rules-based index constructed by VettaFi LLC. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in securities held within this index, which is designed to capture growth-oriented companies with strong cash generation profiles.

The index methodology screens for companies with positive free cash flow and selects 100 growth companies with the highest scores from the VettaFi US Equity Large/Mid-Cap 1000 Index, serving as the Parent Index. Free cash flow is a widely used financial metric that measures the cash a company produces after accounting for capital expenditures, often viewed as an indicator of financial health and a companys ability to fund expansion, debt repayment, or shareholder returns without external financing.

Listed on NASDAQ since its IPO in December 2024, GFLW is categorized as a Large Growth ETF despite its relatively small market capitalization of approximately $812 million. The growth classification typically reflects holdings in companies that reinvest earnings into business expansion rather than prioritizing dividend payouts.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Interest rate cuts support growth stock valuations
  • Free cash flow growth among holdings drives index returns
  • ETF assets under management expand rapidly post-IPO
