Farmers National Banc Corp. (FMNB) is a bank holding company that operates The Farmers National Bank of Canfield, headquartered in Canfield, Ohio. Founded in 1887, the company has served its local market for more than a century.
The company provides a diversified mix of financial services, including commercial and retail banking (checking, savings, time deposits, commercial, mortgage and installment loans, home equity lines of credit, and digital/ATM banking), as well as personal and corporate trust administration, retirement and employee benefit consulting, and insurance products distributed through licensed representatives. The bank holding company structure enables FMNB to bundle non-banking financial services alongside its core lending and deposit operations, a common model among community and regional banks seeking to deepen customer relationships and generate fee income.
In addition to its lending and fee-based businesses, the company invests in municipal securities. Listed on NASDAQ since its 1999 IPO, FMNB is classified as a small-cap Regional Bank within the Financials sector.
