Description: EFSC Enterprise Financial

Enterprise Financial Services Corp (EFSC) is a U.S.-based financial holding company that operates primarily through its Enterprise Bank & Trust subsidiary, delivering commercial banking and wealth management services to both individuals and corporate clients across eight states (Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and New Mexico), with its headquarters in Clayton, Missouri. As a regional bank, EFSC follows the standard commercial banking model of accepting deposits and originating loans, with a heavier orientation toward business and commercial real estate lending than retail-focused national banks.

The companys core activities span interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing deposit products (demand, money market, savings, and CDs) and a diversified loan portfolio that includes commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, construction and development, residential real estate, SBA, and consumer loans. Beyond traditional banking, EFSC offers treasury management, international trade services, sponsor finance, tax credit lending and brokerage, fiduciary and investment advisory services, and insurance-related products, supported by a digital banking platform that includes mobile, online, and remote deposit capabilities. Founded in 1988 and listed on NASDAQ since 1999, the company operates as a mid-cap regional bank within the Financials sector.

Headlines to Watch Out For

  • Commercial real estate loan portfolio faces elevated credit risk
