Banca Generali S.p.A. is an Italian wealth management bank that distributes financial products and services to high net worth, affluent, and private clients through a network of financial advisors. Its operations are organized into two main segments: Private Banking (PB CGU) and Senior Partner (SP CGU). The companys offerings span current and deposit accounts, custody and administration of financial instruments, advisory on primary and secondary market transactions, asset management (including mutual funds and portfolio management), and the distribution of insurance and insurance investment products.
In addition to core financial services, Banca Generali provides specialized wealth advisory services covering corporate advisory, real estate advisory, art and collectibles advisory, and family protection and succession planning. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Milan, the bank operates as a subsidiary of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., Italys largest insurance group. Within the asset management and custody banking space, the company is notable for its advisor-led distribution model, which differentiates it from digital-first wealth platforms and positions it within Italys established private banking tradition.
