Description: OMFL Oppenheimer Russell 1000

The Oppenheimer Russell 1000 Dynamic Multifactor ETF (OMFL) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the Russell 1000 Index by allocating at least 80% of its total assets to the securities in that underlying benchmark. Rather than maintaining a static factor mix, the fund dynamically shifts its emphasis across size, value, momentum, quality, and volatility factors depending on the current stage of the U.S. business cycle-favoring size, value, and volatility during recovery; size, value, and momentum during expansion; volatility and quality during slowdown; and momentum, quality, and volatility during contraction. Launched in November 2017, OMFL is classified within the Large Blend category, meaning it provides broad exposure to U.S. large-capitalization stocks across multiple sectors and industries rather than concentrating on a single segment of the market.

Headlines to Watch Out For
  • Factor rotation shifts based on macroeconomic cycle stage
  • Russell 1000 large-cap performance drives underlying NAV
  • AUM growth pressured by cheaper passive multifactor ETF rivals
