Blue Ridge Bankshares, Inc. is a bank holding company that operates Blue Ridge Bank, National Association, providing commercial and consumer banking services through two segments: Commercial Banking and Mortgage Banking. The company accepts a range of deposit products including checking, savings, money market, cash management, IRA accounts, and certificates of deposit, while also originating commercial and industrial loans, residential and commercial mortgages, home equity loans, and consumer installment loans. Beyond traditional banking, it offers treasury management, wire services, online and mobile banking, fraud prevention, procurement cards, property and casualty insurance, SBA loans, and wealth management services including trust administration, estate planning, and life insurance products. Founded in 1893 and headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, the company operates branches across numerous Virginia communities as well as in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a regional bank holding company, BRBS is subject to regulatory oversight by federal banking authorities and operates within a defined geographic footprint, with its mortgage banking segment reflecting exposure to interest rate trends and housing market activity that influence loan origination and sale volumes.
